Attorney Jason B. Martin was born and raised in Williamsport, PA. He attended LaSalle University to pursue a degree in Finance before attending law school at Widener University School of Law. Attorney Martin graduated from Widener in 1998 and began his law career as an associate with a prestigious center city Philadelphia law firm.

In August 2001, Attorney Martin founded The Martin Law Firm. Since then, The Martin Law Firm has represented individuals, families and businesses in Montgomery County, PA and all surrounding counties. Primary areas of expertise include Healthcare Law; Commercial Debt Collections and Litigation; Wills, Trust and Estates; Divorce and Family Law; and Criminal Defense. Other areas of expertise include Business and Corporate Law and Real Estate. Attorney Martin is admitted to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars. He is also admitted to the federal district courts for the middle and eastern districts of Pennsylvania.

Among his many accomplishments, Attorney Martin has recently been named as General Counsel to the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association. He is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the Norristown Lions’ Club. He served as a board member and officer for the Steward’s Alliance, an organization to help children with special needs and his firm contributes to For Pete’s Sake, an organization that provides a respite for families coping with a member suffering from cancer.

Meghan E. Durett

Assistant to Attorney Martin

Meghan Durett joined The Martin Law Firm in 2008 as Attorney Jason Martin’s assistant. Since then, she has worked with Attorney Martin to vigorously represent clients while striving to provide compassionate service in an expeditious and efficient manner.

Ms. Durett graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with honors in 2005, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Politics & Philosophy with a minor in Legal Studies. She has worked in the legal field since 2005, gaining experience in family law, health care law, and other various types of criminal and civil litigation.

At The Martin Law Firm, Ms. Durett provides support to Attorney Martin in all areas of practice, including Health Care Law; Divorce and Family Law; Criminal Law; Wills, Trusts and Estates; and Commercial Debt Collections and Litigation. She is actively involved in all aspects of litigation support, administrative and office management, and client communications.
