Jason B. Martin, Esquire

Jason Martin is the principal attorney and founder of The Martin Law Firm.  Mr. Martin was born and raised in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.  He attended LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA, where he earned his degree in Finance before attending law school at Widener University School of Law.  Mr. Martin graduated from law school in 1998 and began his legal career as an associate attorney for a prestigious law firm located in center city Philadelphia. 

In August 2001, Jason Martin founded The Martin Law Firm, originally based out of Doylestown, PA.  In 2002, Attorney Martin moved his law office to its current location in Blue Bell, Montgomery County, PA.

Since then, the skilled attorneys at The Martin Law Firm have provided excellent legal representation to individuals, families, and businesses in Montgomery County, PA and throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania.  Primary areas of expertise include:

Among his many accomplishments, Attorney Martin presently serves as General Counsel to the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association.  He is a regular speaker for the PCA Coding & Compliance Institute on topics including health care compliance, insurance audits, and related legal issues.  Attorney Martin belongs to the American Health Lawyers Association and the Norristown Lions Club.  He has served as a board member and officer for the Stewards' Alliance, a Philadelphia, PA organization that helps children with special needs.  Currently, The Martin Law Firm proudly works with For Pete's Sake Cancer Respite Foundation, a Montgomery County, PA nonprofit organization that provides respite vacations for local families coping with a family member suffering from cancer.

Alexander D. Magid, Esquire

Attorney Alexander D. Magid is a southeastern Pennsylvania native, born and raised in nearby Huntingdon Valley, PA.  Mr. Magid graduated from Penn State University, where he earned his degree in Crime, Law & Justice before attending law school at Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, DE.  Attorney Magid graduated from law school with Pro Bono Distinction. 

Prior to joining The Martin Law Firm, Attorney Magid gained extensive experience in the fields of criminal law with the Montgomery County, PA District Attorney’s Office.  He also has experience in personal injury, subrogation and commercial litigation with prominent law firms in the greater Philadelphia area. 

Mr. Magid is admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Meghan Durett joined The Martin Law Firm in 2008 as Attorney Jason Martin's assistant.  Since then, Ms. Durett has worked with the firm's attorneys to provide diligent and efficient representation to clients while striving to provide compassionate customer service.

Ms. Durett graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with honors in 2005, earning her Bachelor's Degree in Politics & Philosophy with a minor in Legal Studies.  She has worked in the legal field since 2005, gaining experience in family law, health care law, and other various types of criminal and civil litigation.

At The Martin Law Firm, Ms. Durett provides support to our attorneys in all areas of practice.  Ms. Durett is responsible for the administrative matters of the firm, and she is actively involved in all aspects of litigation support, office management, and client communications.  Ms. Durett is a Certified Inbound Marketing Specialist and also manages the firm's marketing activities.
